Personal Experience
Andrew joined Rosen & Associates as an associate in late 2023. Prior to joining Rosen & Associates, Andrew completed his articles (2021-2022) and was subsequently hired as an associate in early 2022 with a firm predominantly focused on tax litigation and dispute resolution.
At Rosen & Associates, Andrew focuses on tax litigation matters. He has previously assisted clients at all stages of the tax appeal process including filing notices of appeal, conduction of examinations for discovery and preparation for and attendance at both settlement conferences and hearings at the Tax Court of Canada. He has also assisted clients with the preparation and filing of notices of objection and the drafting of submissions to CRA appeals officers.
Andrew has experience with a variety of matters including those involving net worth assessments, revenue projection, shareholder benefits, the principal residence exemption, third-party liability assessments, GST/HST on the sale of real property and cross border GST/HST issues.
Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. In his final year at Osgoode Hall Law School, he received the R.J. Gray Award, which is awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities. Andrew was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2022.
Outside of the workplace, Andrew enjoys spending his time with family and friends, playing hockey, or on the golf course.
