Brett Jenkins
Personal Experience
Brett Jenkins is an Articling Student at Rosen & Associates.
Brett recently graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. Prior to law school he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
During his 2L year in law school Brett worked a co-op term in the CRA Appeals Division as a Taxpayer Relief Officer. In this role he became familiar with the CRA’s internal processes and procedures, and the policies and guidelines around approvals of Taxpayer Relief.
In his 3L year Brett worked for the Department of Justice Litigation Sector, in the Vancouver Tax litigation office. While there he greatly developed his tax law experience by working on a broad array of Tax Court of Canada files, including trial for a s. 103 reassessment, evidentiary motions regarding the Disability Tax Credit Promoter Restrictions, and CRA collection cases.
In his spare time Brett enjoys skiing, sailing, and cooking.
