Personal Experience
Harman is a Summer Law Student here at Rosen & Associates.
Having completed his first year in the Dual JD program at Windsor Law, Harman has since transferred to Osgoode Hall Law School, where he has just completed his second year of his JD. During his 1L year, Harman was involved with the Windsor Law Punjabi Association as an executive and a 1L Researcher for the Bowman Tax Law Moot Team.
As a 1L researcher, Harman developed an interest in tax law, which he continued at Osgoode. He wrote a research paper for his Professor on the 2024 GAAR reforms and their likelihood of resolving judicial inconsistencies within tax court decisions. He quickly joined the Osgoode community as an executive for the Osgoode Society for Corporate Governance and is an active member of other clubs.
Before law school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts program at York University in Business & Society, specializing in The Firm and Organization & Law and Governance. During his undergraduate studies, he became a Finance Director for York’s Mooting Society and later Vice President. Harman then took a gap year before entering law school, where he worked at the Royal Bank of Canada as a Client Advisor.
In his free time, Harman enjoys playing and watching sports, begging his dog for cuddles, and
playing video games.
