Rose Zhang
Personal Experience
Rose is a 2L summer student at Rosen & Associates Tax Law.
Rose recently completed her second year at Osgoode Hall Law School. She is an active member of the law community, participating in clubs and interest groups both at Osgoode and externally. At Osgoode, Rose serves as a peer mentor for the Peer Mentorship Program, a representative for the Legal Entrepreneurs Organization, and a tax law research assistant. Beyond the law school community, Rose seeks to advance social advocacy by volunteering with Fix Police Reporting and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers – Ontario Branch (FACL ON).
Prior to attending law school, Rose completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto with a double major in Sociology and Equities. Concurrently, she accrued extensive banking experience working at a global financial institution for almost 7 years, assuming various managerial roles in operations and investments. The banking experience provided exposure to tax-related issues with liens and garnishments which further fueled her interest in tax law.
In her spare time, Rose enjoys exploring new restaurants, travelling to new places, and doing Pilates.
