Shelby Mawson
Personal Experience
Shelby is a summer student at Rosen & Associates.
He holds a BSc in biology from the University of Guelph and recently completed his second year of the JD program at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. At law school, he served as Co-President of the Jewish Law Students’ Association as well as Chief of Staff for the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Athletics Club. He has presented original papers at venues such as the Lincoln Alexander JD Research Symposium as well as the Winograd Symposium. Earlier in 2026, he was selected to represent the school as a member of the Adam F Fanaki Competition Law Moot team.
Prior to law school, Shelby worked as the executive assistant to The Hon. Irwin Cotler as well as a taxpayer services agent for the CRA.
In his spare time, he enjoys camping, farming, woodworking, and training mixed martial arts.
