Personal Experience
Stephanie is an articling student at Rosen & Associates Tax Law. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Queen’s University in 2023. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Toronto and was conferred a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Distinction in Accounting and earned a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from York University.
Prior to law school, Stephanie started her Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) journey and successfully completed the examination to obtain the CPA designation. After graduating law school, she had been working as staff accountant at V.B. Sharma Professional Corporation. While in this position, Stephanie was responsible for preparing financial statements, assisting with CRA audits and tax compliance. Stephanie’s experience in accounting has enabled her to develop an enhanced comprehension of complex tax legislation.
While attending law school, Stephanie worked on researching and developing a Tax Guide with the Queens Tax Law Society explaining the key tax implications of various business vehicles. The Handbook was developed to be used by the Queen’s Business Law Clinic. Stephanie was also a part of the Queen’s Business Law clinic where she assisted local businesses and individuals on corporate and intellectually property matters.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys travelling, baking, and doing the daily wordle.
