Alisha Kara
Personal Experience
Alisha Kara is a Summer Law Student who is working towards the completion of her combined BA/JD program at the University of Ottawa in French.
With a background in research, Alisha has previously acted as a research assistant for both the Senate and faculty professors, focusing on areas such as technology and AI, as well as Indigenous law and tax law.
She enjoyed her experience as both the Vice-President of External Affairs and Student Advocacy for the Common Law Student Society. Alisha is very involved with the faculy and has been on the hiring committee for the faculty of law the past two years and acted as a mentor to numerous law students. Alisha promotes diversity and inclusivity within her academic sphere. Additionally, she has been both an associate and assistant editor for the Ottawa Law Review.
In her free time Alisha enjoys going to spin and pilates, experimenting with new recipes, exploring various restaurants, and exploring new hiking trails.
