Personal Experience
Matt is a Junior Associate at Rosen & Associates.
Matt recently graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he studied English and American Studies at the University of Toronto.
Matt enjoyed a position as a summer law student at Rosen & Associates Tax Law in 2022, working on many types of matters, such as tax litigation as well as administrative objections to reassessments. After finding a passion for tax law, Matt decided to return to the firm as an articling student to develop his skills further.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt gained hands-on experience in multiple legal fields. In the summer of 2021, he interned at a criminal law firm, and later did an internship at a firm specializing in real estate and family law. Matt also participated in the inaugural 2L Leclair moot in March 2022, which concerned a contractual dispute.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys watching the Ottawa Senators and hanging out with his friends.
