Nina Zibar
Personal Experience
Nina just completed her second year of her Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor. Prior to law school, she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science specializing in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Toronto graduating with High Distinction. She has experience working in various occupational fields including retail, the food industry and construction. During her undergraduate degree, she also completed an internship at Innocence Project at Osgoode Hall Law School focusing on the interaction between forensic science techniques and the law.
Having an interest in litigation, Nina has challenged herself by participating in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition at Windsor Law placing first and in multiple moots including the Transnational Law Moot Competition exploring both U.S. and Canadian law. During law school she has partaken in various clinical placements including volunteering at Community Legal Aid at Windsor and a placement at the Class Action Clinic at Windsor Law. Both placements solidified her commitment to assisting equity deserving groups and advocating fiercely on behalf of clients.
In her free time, Nina is an avid reader, traveler, fashion enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her family and cat.
